I lack the energy/time/motivation to write much about it, but I figured I'd at least share a selection of pictures.
We got up at 5.30 to jump on a plane, and after a 2h flight and a few trains and tubes, we got to Osaka. We dropped our bags in the flat and off we went, on the search for a library (for touristic documentation). We then followed a trail that took us to 2 (closed) shrines and through some lovely streets.
The Castle of Osaka, apparently not really worth going too close to, so we decided a distant picture would do.
Clever bike racks
Some pretty hefty mosquitoes around here (don't worry about me mum, the swelling has gone down since then, I'm fine ;) )
Sneaky pictures taken through the gate of a locked shrine
Lots of flowers I'm not used to see
A nice play ground
